Detailed Description

This antique Japanese haori for men is an exceptional piece, directly inspired by the feudal era. Handcrafted in Japan using traditional techniques, it is made of black Habutae silk (羽二重), a fine textile once reserved for nobility and elite warriors.

Its design features five family crests (Kamon, 家紋) *Maruni Tomoe* (丸に巴), an iconic symbol of power and fluidity, closely linked to the Taira clan (平氏).

A Unique Reversible Lining: The Legend of Minamoto no Yoritomo

Inside, this haori reveals a stunning reversible lining, illustrating the famous Journey of Minamoto no Yoritomo, founder of the Kamakura Shogunate, to Mount Fuji.
